DIVA Trio Heads to Bickford Theater

Pianist Tomoko Ohno brings her DIVA Trio back for a fun evening of mixed jazz. Her previous trio appearance drew raves from all in attendance. Drummer Sherrie Maricle presides over an extensive percussion set with the right balance of energy and taste, and Bassist Noriko Ueda “has the kind of solo chops that belie the jokes about bass solos.”  Elliott Simon says “the trio combines both raw power and virtuosity for an awe-inspiring thrill ride.”
