Emily Asher's Garden Party is the surprise hit from the New Jersey Jazz Society's JazzFest. With Bria Skonberg (trumpet), Dan Levinson (reeds), Gordon Webster (piano), Kelly Friesen (bass) and Kevin Dorn (drums) backing Emily's torrid trombone.
People stopped in their tracks to listen to this band play in June, many unaware that they were even on the program. NJJS members might remember Emily from her appearance with Baby Soda at The Stomp in March.
