The Midiri Barnhart Trio returns. That's enormously popular stride pianist Jeff Barnhart– hardly a festival or cruise without him- along with Joe Midiri (reeds) and Paul Midiri (drums, vibes, perhaps trombone).
The Midiris alone normally fill the room, but working with Jeff Barnhart elevates the proceedings to a one time only event that can never be duplicated. This combination is greater than the sum of the parts, and is catching on with festival directors who have these three within their lineups.
All ticket holders are invited to a free reception in the Morris Museum lobby from 6:30 p.m. to curtain, with all exhibit halls open. Light refreshments will be served, and you’ll have the run of the museum… all for the usual low ticket price.
