In the 2009-2010 season , the basketball team was able to make the first round of playoffs in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Tournament. The basketball season runs from mid-October through March depending on the success of the team. In late February, the NEAC holds their championship tournament where the Eagles hope to beat conference opponents for a shot in the NCAA tournament.
