Event for Parents: 'My Brain Made Me Do It'

On Thursday evening, parents are invited to join nurses, teachers, guidance counselors and others who works with adolescents at a free program on adolescent brain development.

Called, "My Brain Made Me Do It: Adolescent Brain Development and Daily Life," the program is scheduled for Thurs., Oct. 13 from 7–9 p.m. at Morristown High School.

The guest speaker is Richard E. Kreipe, MD. At the end of the evening, participants should be able to:

• Recognize key features of normal adolescent brain development.
• Apply new research findings to understand common adolescent behaviors.

This is the Annual Visiting Professor Lecture of the Cummins Endowment for Adolescent Medicine. The event is sponsored by the Goryeb Children’s Hospital Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health and the Morristown High School Raising Healthy Teens Committee.
