Home Invasion And Assault In Morris Twp, Two Sent To Hospital

The Thursday morning invasion and assault sent two men to the hospital, police said.

MORRIS TWP, NJ— An armed home invasion and robbery sent two Morris Township men to the hospital, as Morris Township Police search for the suspects.

The invasion happened at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday morning. Police say three men entered the Cleaveland Ave home in the Collinsville section of town. Once they entered, the men assaulted the two occupants and robbed the home.

Both men who were assaulted were taken to Morristown Medical Center, treated and released, police said.

Police described the suspects as two African-American individuals, and one who is possibly Hispanic. They described what two of the three were wearing: the first individual was wearing a red jacket or long sleeve shirt, with blue jeans and black gloves. The second individual was wearing a blue or black jacket or long sleeve shirt, with grey sweatpants.
