June 17 - Mendham 5K Patriots Race and Kids' Fun Run!
This 5K charity race features DJ music, door prizes, lots of medals, a free post-race pancake breakfast, a bounce house and a kids' fun run!

Register now for the 9th Annual Mendham Patriots 5K Race and Kids' Fun Run!
The charity run is set for Saturday, June 17, at 9 a.m., starting in front of the Brookside Community Club. The scenic race course winds it was out-and-back through the historic streets of Brookside. Afterward, the Kids Fun Run takes off at 9:45 a.m., for the littlest runners.
There are lots of chances to win a medal. Awards are given to the overall 5K winners and to men and women in five-year age groups, from 9 and under to 80+, afterward.

Early-bird discounted registration is open through just before midnight on June 15. Sponsored by the Mendham Township Recreation Commission, this community event benefits rebuilding Ralston Playground, which was closed last spring.

The Rebuild the Ralston Playground Campaign already has raised $10,000 toward the goal of $200,000. In addition to the race, the Recreation Commission has partnered with the West Morris Junior Women’s Club on a Buy-a-Brick campaign. Residents can buy a brick or make a donation.
The race features: custom running T-shirts, chip timing; a USATF-certified course, 500 Grand Prix points; a random door prize drawing; post-race refreshments and DJ music, a vendor fair and kids’ activities.
The Patriots’ race also funds local college scholarships to graduating seniors from West Morris Mendham High School, Mendham Magic Track & Field, and Geoffrey’s MVP scholarships.
