LOCAL RESTAURANT SAYS "WE WANT TO HELP SAVE ST. VIRGIL'S ACADEMY!"

Morris Plains, NJ, May 12, 2016– St. Virgil’s School on Speedwell Ave in Morris Plains has been servicing the faith community in Morris Plains, Morris Township, and Morristown for 106 years, and are on the verge of closing due to lack of financial support. Tiff’s Grill & Ale House wants to do everything they can to help and are going to give 10% of all food on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s as well as any party booked to help save Saint Virgil’s. All you have to do to help is mention SAVE ST. VIRGIL’S!

St. Virgils’ Academy has been a staple in the community since we opened. The parents, teachers, students and parishioners have always supported our restaurant and it is our turn to help them. – Michael Romanelli, Owner

St. Virgil Academy is a Pre-K 3 through Grade 8 learning community dedicated to the education and faith formation of each student in a nurturing environment. St. Virgil’s administrator’s teachers, parents, parishioners and even the children are campaigning to obtain funds. On May 18th there will be a fundraiser at Tiff’s Grill and Ale House in Morris Plains from 6-8pm with a live acoustic show by Nina & Trevor. (Nina is a music teacher at St. Virgil’s Academy)

Recent years have seen a decline in enrollment and dwindling support from the community. In order to continue our mission, we are in desperate need of funding both to finish out this school year and to allow us to reopen our doors next year. – St. Virgils Academy
