Major Morris Roadway Set for $615K Construction Project

As part of its wide-reaching paving project across the region, Morris County’s construction work continues, with one of the county’s most heavily-traveled roads set for work.

East Hanover Avenue in Hanover and Morris Township between Highview Avenue and Speedwell Avenue – 1.2 miles in length – will be milled and paved later this week during the overnight hours.

The $615,542 project will take place during three consecutive nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., and motorists should expect delays in the area. Police will be on scene to direct traffic.

Basin work has already begun and the project is being completed by Schifano Construction Corporation.
