Morris County Man Killed By Car Trying To Cross Route 35: Report
Incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
Investigators are looking into an accident Friday night that took the life of a 42-year-old Morris County man, according to a report.
NJ.com reported the man was hit at 6:11 p.m. as he was trying to cross Route 35 in Ocean Township, not far from the Asbury Park border, according to authorities.
Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Charles Webster told NJ.com the man was hit near the Super 8 Motel by a Jeep Grand Cherokee and died at the scene.
