Man Sought After Allegedly Assaulting Victim in Morris Plains

Attack occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday on Carlyle Avenue, police report.

Local and county police agencies are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted his victim on a Morris Plains street this week.

According to the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, a white man between 6’1” and 6’5” is being sought after attacking a victim on Carlyle Avenue near Central Avenue on Oct. 26 around 5 p.m.

The alleged assailant was wearing glasses, a blue baseball hat, and a blue track suit, the Sheriff’s Office said. The man was last seen in the area of Central and Carlyle Avenues, leaving the scene with a female and light-colored dog, police said.
