Martin Luther King Avenue Flooded Again

Closure reported by Morristown Police

Call it "hurricane hangover," either from the wallop Irene gave the region last week, or from the remnants of Lee that are now passing through.

Morristown Police reported at about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday that Martin Luther King Avenue was closed due to flooding. It was originally reported that MLK was closed only between George Street and Spring Street due to local flooding.

, as the Whippany River overtook it and the JCP&L substation on Ridgedale Avenue.
