
MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — The annual Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade is back again this year for 2018. The parade is being held on Saturday, May 26.
Before the parade, a memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. at Robert’s Garden, corner of Glenbrook Road and Mountain Way. The parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Glenbrook Road and Mountain Way. The route goes south down Mountain Way, east on Rosedale Ave, then north along Speedwell Avenue, past the reviewing stand at the corner of Franklin Place, opposite the railroad station, and continues north up Littleton Road to Route 53 north where it ends at the VFW Watnong Post 3401.
The Grand Marshal is 50-year Morris Plains Volunteer Fireman Jack Van Orden.

Over 90 first responder units, Future Marines of RSS Northwest and 14 bands will march in the parade, and attendees can expect a flyover by an F-16 fighter jet.
