Modera Opens Doors to High-End Apartment Complex in Morristown

The ribbon was cut and the start of a new community began Tuesday in Morristown, as Modera 44 opened its doors to the public.

Offering 268 apartment homes, Modera 44, built by Mill Creek Residential, is a high-end community that brings city living and pieces of suburbia together.

The Prospect Street building offers gourmet kitchens with moveable islands, plush carpeted bedrooms, soaking tubs, and a resort-style rooftop deck with fire pit and gas grills.

Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty was on hand Tuesday to help cut the ribbon on Modera, which lists prices as low as $1,750 per month for studio apartments all the way up to $3,650 for two bedrooms, two bathroom townhomes in the community.

“Morristown is without question one of New Jersey’s destination towns, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve had from the town, led by the mayor and the council, ” said Richard Murphy, Managing Director for Mill Creek in New Jersey in a statement. “It is a thrill to have the opportunity to open Modera 44 and to help further shape the downtown area by attracting hundreds of new residents who want to take advantage of the lively street-scene, convenience and beautiful natural surroundings.”

“This project is a continuation of the vision to make Morristown a destination for people of all ages,” Dougherty said in a statement. “We will continue to bring projects to fruition that make Morristown become more pedestrian-friendly and a vibrant community, while continuing to maintain the character and historical charm of this town.”

Renters are able to move in to Modera in December.
