Morris Plains Father Fatally Struck by Car After Daughter's Soccer Game
Charles Nasta was walking back from watching his daughter's soccer game at Moravian College when he was struck as he crossed the street.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — A Morris Plains father was fatally struck by a car as he crossed a street near Moravian College Wednesday evening. Charles Nasta, 64, was on his way back from watching his daughter's soccer game at the time of the accident, NJ.com reports.
Nasta was hit by a car as he crossed West Elizabeth Avenue at Iron Street at around 7:30 p.m. He was treated at the scene and was then transported to St. Luke's University Hospital.
Nasta was pronounced dead from blunt force injuries at 8:38 p.m. The coroner ruled his death as an accident.

The Bethlehem Police Traffic Unit Reconstruction Team and the Northampton County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident.
