Democrats Take Lead In Morris Township Committee Election
Earlier in the night, Morris County officials reported that the Republican candidates held the lead with all precincts reporting.
Update: Earlier Tuesday night, Morris County officials reported that the Republican candidates held the lead with 100 percent of precincts reporting. The Democratic candidates have since taken the lead in the unofficial tally.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — Democrats held the lead as of midnight for both Morris Township Committee spots. If the results hold, Mark Gyorfy will win re-election with Tara Olivo-Moore joining the governing body.
Democratic Mayor Jeffrey Grayzel did not seek re-election, instead running for State Senate.
