'Officer Steve' Delivering Holiday Gift Certificates Donated by Morris Township PBA

Officer Steve Summerer, known to students as "Officer Steve," is the School Resource Officer assigned to Frelinghuysen School. This week, armed with two thousand dollars donated by the Morris Township Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA) #133, Summerer has purchased 20 hundred-dollar Walmart gift cards that will be given to local families needing a financial boost.

This is an annual event for the local PBA, which also donates to a variety of community programs. Most of the gift cards will go to families of students who were nominated by their teachers.
