One Only Emergency Call To Morris Plains Fire During The Nor'Easter
Morris Plains got around eight inches of snow.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ— Despite the heavy snow and whiteout conditions, the Morris Plains Fire Department only responded to one call for service during this week's nor'easter.
The fire department was called after a tree fell on power lines, knocking out electricity to the area. JCP&L responded shortly afterwards, and the tree was removed, restoring power to the neighborhood.
Power outages hit Morris County hard yesterday, with some towns seeing up to 60% of residents lose power. Morris Plains was one of the less affected towns. The town got around eight inches of snow.
