Open House Sunday at St. Virgil/Morris Catholic

  will open its doors this Sunday, Oct. 16 to guests interested in seeing the co-educational school’s facility and learning about its program offerings. 

The open house reception will take place from 1–3 p.m. and will be held at the school, located on the campus at 238 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains.

The faculty is excited to show off its newly launched Early Childhood Center (ECC), available to children from grades Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Grade 1.  The Center has adopted the Montessori philosophy in its curriculum, which includes art, music, physical education and technology enrichment programs.  Guests will also be encouraged to take a closer look at the school’s other offerings, including a new science, technology, engineering and mathematics initiative, available through Grade 8.

For those who may not be available to stop in this Sunday, the school will begin to host its “Fantastic Fridays” beginning Fri., Oct.21.  Stop in any Friday between the hours of 9:30–11 a.m. or 1–2 p.m. for a personally guided tour.  No appointment is necessary and you’ll get to see our school and classrooms in action.
