Pizza Pride: Millie's Launches 'Ultimate Pie' Recipe Contest
South Street restaurant inviting customers to build their own creation, winner's will be added to menu.

With National Pizza Month upon us, taking up all 31 delectable days of October, the Morristown restaurant known for bringing a different pizza preparation to South Street since its opening in February 2013 wants to see who has the best recipe for some ‘za.

The Create Your Own Ultimate Pie Contest at Millie’s is now accepting recipes through Oct. 13. All recipe submissions will be made, tested and tasted by Millie’s Executive Chef Peter Martinez, who will then determine the top four finalists.
At 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, Eric Levin, Senior Editor of New Jersey Monthly Magazine and Teresa Politano, restaurant critic for the Star Ledger/Inside Jersey magazine will judge the final slices and name a winner.

The winning creation will receive the ultimate reward: having the item added to Millie’s specials menu and winning a private pizza making class for six.
