Rotary Club to hold “Horse Race” Fund-Raiser
April 8th will be a fun "Night at the Races"

The Rotary Club of Morris Plains will be holding its 8th Annual “Night at the Races” on April 8th at the Ukrainian-American Cultural Center, 60 North Jefferson Road, Whippany. The event will begin at 6:30, and will include an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, beer, wine and soda for an admission fee of $50.
The evening will feature betting with “play money” on actual horse races filmed in the past at actual tracks from around the country with the opportunity to win additional “play money” which can then be used either to bet on more races, or purchase tickets for a “basket raffle” of substantial prizes donated by local merchants.
An extra attraction is the opportunity to “Own a Race Horse” – purchasing a virtual race horse for $50, which if it wins its race, will afford the additional opportunity to participate in a drawing for a Grand Prize, including a Lottery Ticket Board, a Big-Screen TV, or a Time Share Vacation.
