Scam Alert: Morris Twp Police Warn Against New Scam
Just because tax season is over doesn't mean scam calls will stop.

MORRIS TWP, NJ — Tax season might be over, but those pesky IRS scam calls aren't. According to Morris Township Police, residents should stay vigilant over the summer against scam calls.
Police say the scammers are now telling people that two certified letters were undeliverable and asking for money.
"Please be cognizant of people pretending to be officials via phone calls that were unsolicited. The police do not call asking you to wire money because we have your loved ones under arrest," they wrote on Facebook.
