SNAP (Food Stamp) Outreach in Morristown
FREE pre-screening and application assistance available this Thursday, November 5
The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of NJ will visit Zufall Health’s Morristown Wellness Center this Thursday to help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps. They will be there from 10am to 2pm and help those people likely to be eligible for food stamp benefits to fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available. The Morristown Wellness Center is located at 85 Washington St.
The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches, and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million New Jersey residents.
