SNAP (Food Stamp) Outreach in Morristown

FREE pre-screening and application assistance available this Friday, December 18

The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of NJ will visit the WIC Program at St. Margaret’s Church this Friday and help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps. They will be there from 9:30am to 2:30pm and help those people likely to be eligible for food stamp benefits to fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available. St. Margaret’s Church is located at 6 Sussex Ave. in Morristown.

The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches, and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million New Jersey residents.
