Team Zoey 5th Annual 5k/1 Mile Walk, Turkey Trot

Join Team Zoey in the Fight Against Progeria on November 28 in Verona Park

Zoey Penny is a 6 year old girl from Verona, NJ. She is one of only 124 children in the world diagnosed with Progeria, which is a fatal degenerative condition that causes rapid aging in children, leaving them with a life expectancy of a little more than 14 years.

Team Zoey is hosting the Fifth Annual “Miles of Hope” 5K run/1 Mile Walk, Turkey Trot. Team Zoey’s Turkey Trot will take place on Saturday, November 28 in Verona Park. Registration begins at 8:30 A.M.. The runners’ start time is 9:30 A.M. and the walkers’ start time is at 9:45 A.M..

Since we began several years ago, Team Zoey’s Turkey Trots have been an overwhelming success, with more than 1,000 participants, and raising over $100,000.00 for the Progeria Research Foundation.
