Three New Jersey Fisher Phillips Attorneys Featured in Chambers USA 2016
Forty-Four Fisher Phillips Attorneys Nationwide Recognized This Year

In addition, Fisher Phillips is ranked as one of the top labor and employment law firms in the United States, and the New Jersey office is ranked among the top labor and employment law firms in the state.
Each year, Chambers USA publishes a list of the top law firms and attorneys across the United States. It determines rankings through thousands of in-depth interviews with randomly selected attorneys, clients and businesses.

Managing Partner Rosemary Gousman’s diverse practice includes both litigation and counseling of employers. She litigates cases involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, whistleblower claims, wage and hour laws, common law contract and tort claims, traditional labor law involving union-management relations, and employee benefits disputes. Along with her litigation work, Gousman counsels clients on the appropriate handling of disciplinary matters, employee terminations, compliance with employment statutes and state and federal regulations dealing with harassment and discrimination, wages, leaves of absence, and more.
Cynthia Jacob, Senior Counsel, has extensive experience litigating employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, benefits disputes, race, sex and age discrimination and other civil rights, all on behalf of management. Over the last few years, Jacob has focused on arbitration and mediation of state and federal employment-related claims, and is certified by the American Arbitration Association. A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Jacob is a former president of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a former chair of the Lawyers’ Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Partner Christopher Mills has a wide range of experience in nearly every aspect of employment litigation, employment discrimination, workforce reduction, employment-at-will and wrongful termination, traditional labor relations law, affirmative action plans and OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs), as well as employee pension and benefit plans. A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Mills has represented major corporations in class action law suits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and collective claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
