The last few neighborhoods in Morris Township that were without electricity as a result of Hurricane Irene had their power restored Monday. Residents had endured more than a week in the dark, some without running water.
The Bell Drive/Cottonwood area, still dark on Monday morning, was restored to power before noon. The Craig Road area was restored early Monday afternoon, as was a single home on White Birch Drive that lost power.
Only the Constitution Way neighborhood remained without power Monday afternoon, but the lights came on around 5 p.m.
