Traffic Concerns Plague Proposed Daycare Center in Morristown
Next zoning board of adjustment hearing scheduled for Dec. 17.

The traffic consultant for a proposed daycare center at the corner of Normandy and Madison Roads in Morristown says increased volume to the area won’t have much impact on motorists. That opinion, of course, was heavily discounted by residents of the area.
According to morristowngreen.com, testimony from The Learning Experience’s traffic consultant, Charles Olivo, to the zoning board of adjustment lasted some two hours Wednesday night. The consultant claimed the addition of the business at the already-busy intersection would not have much impact on the area.
The center would serve 175 children with a staff of 22, the report said, and would have a footprint of just under an acre.
