Where Will You Be When Steelers, Packers Face Off?

Patch tells you where you can watch the big game.

Every week, our new feature, Patch Picks, will give you the low-down on a timely topic. We'll point you toward the biggest, the best, the top-of-the-heap. This week, what else could it be but ... places to watch the Super Bowl.

Kick-off is just after 6 p.m., but you can check in at any of these spots for the pre-game show too.

Super Bowl Sunday is a big day at Tiff's. As they do every year, the owners will put out a half-time buffet made up of their regular menu items, offer beer and drink specials and give away a bunch of goodies from their distributors.

There'll be a half-time buffet at Coco Pazzo too, along with drink specials that include $7 and $10 pitchers, $3 domestic beers and $3.50 imported beers. There are 7 TVs upstairs, where most of the sports fans gather, and 2 downstairs.

Just a few steps down the street, Collins', which has 7 TVs, will be serving wings and other appetizers and offering $2 domestic pints.

There are three flat screen TVs at the Copeland restaurant's Martini Bar and they'll all be tuned to the big game. Beer, wine and cocktails will be available, along with the regular bar menu. Copeland is located inside the Governor Morris Hotel.

Rod's Steak and Seafood Grille: People don't normally think of Rod's as a place to watch sporting events, which just might make it an ideal place to avoid the crowds. There are 2 TVs, visible from the bar area only.

There are several areas in this popular bar and restaurant to settle down for the big game, from the main bar in the center, to the gaming room next door. And, if your preferred team is losing, you can always pop-over to the Frog's adjacent  and drown your sorrows in Super Bowl silence.

—Sure, the Grasshopper is Jets central, what with the  there during the season. Since "Gang Green" is out of it, maybe you'll have a better chance of getting a seat. Full restaurant seating is upstairs, while the bar is downstairs, offering several TV's to keep tabs on the game.

This fancier, dimly-lit dining establishment has plenty of drink specials during games, and some decent food to boot. The long bar at G&M's is popular with drinkers and diners alike.

—Pete's doesn't have a million plasma-screen televisions showing every droplet of sweat on the player's faces, but it does have two things football fans love: pizza and beer. Small bar area will probably be filled if you're late, but there are plenty of tables with good views of the action.

—Bare-bones boozing at its finest. Across the street from the Hyatt Morristown, this cool little hole-in-the-wall serves cold beer, cash only and caters primarily to a regular clientele. If you've got the green (not "Gang Green," of course, we've already been over this), you'll be as welcome as anyone else.
