$1M State Grant Goes to Ridgedale Avenue Bridge Repair in Morristown
Money given to county as part of statewide grant award from Department of Transportation.

The Ridgedale Avenue Bridge over the Whippany River in Morristown is about to get much needed repairs under a $1 million grant handed down from the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
Governor Chris Christie announced Monday $25 million in grants statewide, with $1 million going to each of the 21 counties in the state, along with six more grants totaling $4 million for various other projects.
The grant program, titled Local Bridges, Future Needs, provides funds for counties to replace, repair, or improve bridges within each county without burdening local taxpayers, the DOT said in a statement.
