“Joanna is a dedicated member of the Morristown High School Orchestra, where she is a leader in the cello section. In addition, Joanna has played the cello in the pit orchestras for the musicals at MHS, Frelinghuysen Middle School, and Delbarton School. She is a member of the Abbey Orchestra, and studies cello with Amy Butler-Visscher. She is a member of the select string ensemble at school and has performed for numerous school functions and community events. She is also a member of the Marching Colonials, Choir, and Jazz Choir. Joanna is a hard worker who has a deep love of music. She happily volunteers for all musical opportunities and performs on the cello with joy and enthusiasm, giving one hundred percent in every rehearsal. Joanna is a truly excellent orchestra student and I am happy to nominate her for student of the month - Outstanding String Player/Orchestra Member.”

“Kristina has performed with the MHS String Orchestra for four years. She has been our first chair cellist since her sophomore year. Kristina is a very musical cellist. She is also a very responsible student. Kristina helps out in numerous ways to assist me and the MHS String Orchestra. Her involvement includes: Running cello sectionals and cello lessons, Cellist in Select Strings Ensemble and Cabaret Night String Ensemble; Attendance taker, NJSMA Region HS Orchestra participant. Kristina is so also a very caring individual. Her cello section thinks the world of her as do the other students in the class. I would love to thank Kristina for all the dedication and love of music she has graced us with.”
