2 Sought After Sex Assault On Morristown Trail: Prosecutor

Two people asked a woman for money. When she didn't provide it, one pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her, authorities said.

Update, noon Thursday: The Morris County Sheriff's Office shared additional photos, plus a police sketch, of two people suspected of involvement in a sexual assault, authorities said.

The sheriff's office shared the photos at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday. One suspect sexually assaulted a victim while the other stood by Tuesday afternoon at the Traction Line Recreational Trail in Morristown, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities have released a police sketch of only one of the suspects. Find the additional photos and drawing above.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Authorities continue to seek two people involved in a sexual assault Tuesday in Morristown, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. The agency released photos of both young men and asked the public for more information.

Two people approached the victim and asked her for money just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Traction Line Recreation Trail, authorities said. When she didn't provide money, one of them pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her while the other stood by, according to the prosecutor's office.

Both suspects, who the victim said she didn't know, fled the area afterward, officials said.

Law enforcement described them as Hispanic males — both about 20 years old. One has black hair and was last seen wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans, according to the prosecutor's office. The other was last seen wearing a black hat, a black hoodie with white lettering on the back and black pants, authorities said. One suspect was seen riding a bicycle, authorities said.
