MORRIS PLAINS, NJ ā For the second this time week, a small earthquake has shaken Morris Plains.
The 1.0 magnitude earthquake was detected Saturday just after 12 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The earthquake, about 11 kilometers below the surface, was minor.
No calls to police were made, nj.com reported.

A 1.7 magnitude hit Morris Plains Monday night. A number of residents called police and some reported a loud boom that night, but there were no requests for service, police said.
