3 Burglarized Cars In Morris Twp., 1 Still At Large: Police
Two people were arrested on the scene, and the investigation remains active for the third suspect.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people face charges after burglarizing vehicles Wednesday in Morris Township. A third suspect remains at large.
Morris Township police responded to an Eagle Nest Road home at about 2 a.m. Wednesday. Two people were checking the door handles of vehicles, and the complainant saw it on their home camera system, police said.
A few moments later, police found three people matching the descriptions on Van Beuren Road, near the border of Harding Township. Authorities apprehended two at the scene, but one ran away, police said.

Police in Morristown, Morris County parks and Morris Plains assisted authorities in Morris Township and Harding Township with trying to find the third male, but the searches were unsuccessful. The search concluded at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, but the matter remains under investigation.
The other two suspects were arrested at the scene. They were charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy. They were released pending a court date.

The two arrested are both 20-year-old East Orange men. Morris Township police did not provide their names.
