6th Annual Morristown Jazz And Blues Festival To Be Held Aug. 20
Five different performances will occur from noon to 10 p.m.

Morristown is holding its sixth annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival on Aug. 20.
“We applaud Mayor Dougherty and festival organizers for bringing this great event to our county seat again this year. It is just another example of what makes for a great quality of life in Morris County,” said Morris County Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo in the press release.
Music fans are encouraged to attend the free event at Morristown Green from noon to 10 p.m.

George Gee Swing Orchestra will perform from noon to 2 p.m. This fun, upbeat orchestra has played all over the world, from Beverly Hills, to Zurich, to Tokyo.
From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., The Bucky Pizzarelli Quartet will play music from the Great American Songbook. The quartet will also celebrate guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli’s 90th birthday.

Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses will play from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Louis Prima Junior is the son of famous singer and trumpeter Louis Prima.
Blues guitarist Quinn Sullivan will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. He’s only 16 years old, but has already had a hit album on the Billboard Blues chart.
Lastly, Robert Randolph & the Family Band will play from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Robert Randolph is a pedal steel guitarist who lived in Morristown for several years. Rolling Stone Magazine listed Randolph as one of the top 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He’s toured with many artists, such as Eric Clapton and Dave Mathews.
Concert goers can park in the public lots near Morristown Green. The park is also near the train station.
