87 Best Bars In New Jersey, 2016: Plus So-Called Best-Stocked Bar That Just Opened

It's that wonderful time of year - to get a good drink.

Patch has the best bars in New Jersey for New Year's Eve - or anytime, really, including the so-called best-stocked bar that just opened (see list below).

Patch used the Foursquare app that ranked the best 87 New Jersey places to drink. And, no, they're not all in North Jersey.

Not on the list is a place that nj.com claims will surprise you: Newark Liberty International; more specifically, a place called "Tacquila," located in United Airlines' Terminal C.

"With 2,000-plus bottles, we're pretty confident it's the state's best-stocked bar (we're counting bottles on display, not in some storeroom or basement)," according to nj.com. "With 200 kinds of tequila, it is also undoubtedly the state's largest tequila bar, according to OTG, which owns and manages the restaurants inside United's re-designed Terminal C."

Mostly, the Foursquare list based on "likes," "dislikes" and what sort of treatment each customer receives - as long as the customers checked in on their smart phones (so this isn't the most scientific survey).
