Knapp never received a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing but his appointment was still rejected by Senate Democrats just eight days after coming on in an acting capacity, the report said.
The next judiciary committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 9, but Knapp is not on the list for consideration that day, the report said. The following meeting is scheduled for June 19.
