The Addams Family Auditions

Shining Star Players are looking for 12-18 year olds to audition for their Spring production of, The Addams Family.

Audition Dates:
December 14th & December 15th 2015 (**BY APPOINTMENT ONLY**)

*All auditions will be held at MONDO (426 Springfield Ave, Summit, NJ 07901) in the Lower Level Theater Space.

We are seeking 12-18 year old triple threats to play the iconic Addams Family characters. Since all of our auditions will be by appointment only, we ask that you make an appointment in advance. Please visit the link below to sign up for an audition time-slot.

What to prepare:
Please prepare two songs, 1 minute each. We would like all actors auditioning to have songs from each of the following genres: Classic or Contemporary Musical Theatre and Pop or Rock. Please note that you may only be asked to sing one of your song choices, but please be fully prepared with ALL song choices. If available, please bring along a stapled current headshot and resume. All actors under 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian at the audition.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and is every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
