Advent Theme - The Glory of It All

The Advent theme for this year at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown will be, “The Glory of It All.”

Sunday Services will be 7:45am in the Chapel and 10am in the Sanctuary at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown located at 57 East park Place in Morristown.

• First Sunday of Advent – November 27 - Focusing Your Field of Vision
• Second Sunday of Advent - December 4 - Those Who Say What We Need to Hear
• Third Sunday of Advent – December 11- When Glory Touches Our Lives
• **Fourth Sunday of Advent – December 18 - Fully Present

**A musical service presenting Gloria by John Rutter with Chancel Choir, brass, percussion and organ at 10am. Directed by Matthew Webb.

Special musical event – Big Band Holiday Concert, Sunday Dec 4 at 6pm, Sanctuary, Free – Mike Treni Big Band kicks of holiday season with solid gold sounds of Christmas. Freewill donation.

Christmas Eve – Beyond Time & Space

• 4 pm Family Service with children’s choirs
• 7 pm (6:30 prelude by Ringers-on-the-Green) Candlelight service with vocal and bell choirs
• 11 pm (10:30 prelude by Chancel Ringers) Candlelight service with vocal choirs and ringing-in of Christmas by Chancel Choir

Four-week Advent Study - Parish House of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown, 65 South Street, Morristown

• Tuesdays at 7pm starting November 29
• Wednesdays at 5pm starting November 30
• Thursdays at 11am starting December 1

Following the theme The Glory of It All, this Advent study considers the release of the eternal into the temporal and the reaction that ensues – God’s glory expressed; the overflow of God’s love and grace that fills our world and lives.
