Learjet Leaves Runway, Closing Morristown Airport: Police
Morristown Municipal Airport remains closed Saturday as authorities investigate the accident.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown Municipal Airport remains closed Saturday after an aircraft left the runway while landing, according to a statement from the Morristown Department of Public Safety.
Four people were on board the Learjet that was traveling to Morristown from Fulton County, Georgia, officials said in a news release. The incident happened around 11:20 a.m.
While the aircraft sustained significant damage when it left the runway, no one on board was injured, officials said.
