Alternative Worship Experience at Morristown Jewish Center

Professor Joseph Rosenstein, author of Siddur Eit Ratzon will be the guest speaker. Open to the Community.

Saturday, October 24, 9:30am, Joe Rosenstein has been involved in Jewish learning and teaching all of his life, is a founder and former chair of both the National Havurah Committee and its annual summer institute, and has been leading guided meditations on Jewish prayer for the past fifteen years. He is a founder of the Highland Park Minyan, still going strong after over 40 years. His day job is that of professor of mathematics at Rutgers University. For the past twenty-five years he has focused his attention on K-12 mathematics education.
One of the reasons Joe created this Siddur was to try to answer his own questions about prayer. Perhaps the Siddur will help you answer some of your questions as well. Siddur Eit Ratzon is a traditional Siddur designed for those who seek spirituality and meaning beyond what they have found in conventional prayerbooks.
