MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man was caught on video while allegedly stealing a dump truck that flipped following a police chase.
Timothy Geary, 24, of Whippany, faces several charges following the dump truck chase, officials say.
On Friday, the Morristown Police Department recovered a stolen 2011 Isuzu dump truck that was being driven by Geary. An investigation revealed it to have been stolen from a Denville business.
A dashcam within the truck, which belonged to the North Jersey junk removal company Junk Doctors LLC, captured the whole incident.
About 12 minutes into the video, police sirens are heard, and the driver can be heard saying, "Why're you pulling me over?" and "Yo TikTok, I got a cop on me!" indicating he was live-streaming the heist.
As the truck begins to pick up speed, with a police officer in pursuit, the driver loses control, and the truck flips onto its side.
As police approach the flipped truck, the driver can be heard saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's been a long night... Can I just hang up the phone?"
Police then attempted to bust the window out before the driver exited the truck and was arrested.

Authorities identified the driver as Geary, and charged him with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. He is being held in the Morris County Correctional Facility to await court proceedings.
