MORRISTOWN, NJ — From rockabilly and classic rock to ABBA and Eagles tribute shows, Mayo Performing Arts Center has a full slate of entertainment planned for August.
The Stray Cats will headline the month's schedule, with additional ticketed performances celebrating the music of Bob Weir, The Eagles and the Woodstock generation. MPAC will also host free outdoor concerts at Vail Mansion Plaza and a free movie day featuring "Zootopia 2" and "Jaws."

The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA
Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
The tribute show recreates the music and energy of ABBA with hits including "Mamma Mia," "Waterloo" and "Dancing Queen."
Tickets cost $45 to $91, with limited availability.
Dead On Live — Bob Weir Tribute Show
Thursday, Aug. 6, at 8 p.m.
Dead On Live will honor Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir with note-for-note fan favorites from his work with the Dead and his solo albums. The performance will feature a horn section led by slide trumpeter Steven Bernstein.
Tickets cost $35 to $67.
EagleMania — The World's Greatest Eagles Tribute Band
Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 8 p.m.
EagleMania will recreate the signature sound of The Eagles, performing the group's greatest hits along with selections from members' solo careers.
Tickets cost $45 to $79, with limited availability.
The Stray Cats
Sunday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m.
Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom will bring their rockabilly sound to Morristown. The trio helped return the genre to the charts in the early 1980s with hits including "Rock This Town," "Stray Cat Strut," "(She's) Sexy + 17" and "Runaway Boys."
Tickets cost $114 to $259, with limited availability.
Orleans, Firefall, Pure Prairie League and Atlanta Rhythm Section
Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m.
The four-band concert will feature a collection of 1970s classics, including Pure Prairie League's "Amie," Atlanta Rhythm Section's "Spooky" and "So Into You," Orleans' "Still the One" and "Dance with Me," and Firefall's "You Are the Woman."
Tickets cost $67 to $124, with limited availability.
Glen Burtnik's Summer of Love Concert
Thursday, Aug. 20, at 8 p.m.
Glen Burtnik and the Summer of Love band will celebrate the music of the Woodstock generation, including songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Jefferson Airplane.
Tickets cost $45 to $79.

MPAC's free Arts in the Community summer concert series, sponsored by ADP, will also continue in August.
Joshua Van Ness and Garrett Lash will perform Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 6 p.m. at Vail Mansion Plaza. Van Ness is a singer-songwriter whose music combines classic influences with contemporary sounds. The concert will also feature Morristown Onstage performer Garrett Lash.
MPAC will hold a free movie day Tuesday, Aug. 11, with "Zootopia 2" screening at 10:30 a.m. and "Jaws" at 7 p.m.
Wilma will perform Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. at Vail Mansion Plaza. The female-fronted band performs modern pop, classic rock, folk, indie selections and lesser-known songs with vocal harmonies and varied instrumentation.
Ticket prices include all fees. MPAC reminded patrons that its box office and MayoArts.org are the only official ticket sellers for its events and parking. The theater does not partner with third-party resellers such as StubHub, GoTickets or TicketCenter.
