MORRISTOWN, NJ — Oyster lovers will have another reason to head to downtown Morristown this fall.
The Dublin Pub will host its second annual Galway Oyster Fest on Sept. 26, bringing oysters, seafood, beer and live entertainment to the downtown restaurant.
The outdoor festival is scheduled to run from 1 to 7 p.m., with a rain date of Sept. 27.
Organizers said this year's event will feature four varieties of oysters, which will be freshly shucked on site throughout the afternoon. Grilled oysters will also be prepared outdoors, while The Dublin Pub's kitchen plans to serve seafood specials created for the festival.
A beer truck and tent will be set up outside, and a DJ will provide music during the afternoon.
The festivities will continue after the outdoor portion of the event wraps up. Live music is scheduled to begin inside The Dublin Pub at 8 p.m.
The Galway Oyster Fest debuted last year and is returning for its second year with an expanded selection of oysters and seafood, according to organizers.
The Dublin Pub is located at 4 Pine Street in Morristown.
