Bayer celebrates 150th Anniversary with Airship Visit to brand new HealthCare headquarters site in Whippany, NJ

Elected officials, school children and Bayer employees gather for celebration and day-of-service.

• Interviews with local Bayer leaders and airship pilots.

What:  Gathering of elected officials, school students and Bayer employees to celebrate the U.S. arrival of the company’s 150^th Anniversary Airship.  

Nearly 120 Bayer employees will be cleaning up the Whippany River, adjacent to the company’s new Bayer HealthCare LLC U.S. Headquarters campus as a service project in preparation for joining the community of Whippany.

When:  Thursday, May 23, 2013

6:00 - 8:00 a.m.      Airship tethered flight (weather permitting)

9:00 a.m.                Welcome remarks and presentations (Dan Apel and Mayor Ronald Franciol)

10:00 a.m. – Noon   Whippany River Clean Up by Employees

1:00 – 2:00 p.m.     Lunch

Afternoon               P.G. Chambers School Children Visit Airship

Where:  Brand New Bayer HealthCare LLC U.S. Headquarters (67 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 0798)

Additional Airship Visits:

Airship will visit Stoney Brook Soccer Field in Whippany, N.J.

All day - Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22.
