Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc. has adopted the Jersey Avenue Playground as part of Morristown's "Adopt-a-Spot" program. To kick off the program, employees from the company's Reproductive Health Business Unit visited the park on Friday, May 3 to provide their assistance with upkeep and beautification of the park. The initiative is part of the company's "Living the Philosophy" program, which grants employees one day per quarter to dedicate to a service event of their choosing.
"The company is committed to having our employees give back to the community where we live and work," said Aaron Graff , President and COO of Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc. "Given Ferring's focus on reproductive health, we wanted to offer special support to a place where parents and their children can laugh and play together."
Ferring will be responsible for upkeep of the park throughout the year, including four service events to help with litter pick-up and minor landscaping. Ferring's activities on May 3 included:

- Litter pickup
- Painting 4-square and hopscotch games onto an empty blacktop
- Sanding and re-staining of the existing park benches
