Annual Morris County Budget Meeting Coming Up

Residents can voice concerns and ask questions about the 2017 county budget.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— A special public county budget meeting is coming up in Morris County, officials said in a press release.

The Jan. 30 meeting will let all municipal mayors and residents have a say in the 2017 budget negotiations for the county. Attendees will be able to voice their concerns and ask questions at the meeting.

“We want to ensure that mayors, other elected officials, and county residents have an opportunity to comment on budget issues, to give them some insight into how we are progressing, and to give them a chance to have a say in what we are considering,’’ said Freeholder Christine Myers, who chairs the budget subcommittee. “We invite interested officials and residents to attend."
