Athlete Collapses At Practice, Flown To Morristown Hospital
The student-athlete was brought by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center and is now doing well, officials said
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Warren Hills Regional High School student collapsed during an athletic practice Wednesday afternoon, and the student was flown to a hospital, according to the school superintendent.
According to officials, the ninth-grade student was flown to Morristown Medical Center by helicopter and is doing well.
Clymer praised the “professionalism of our staff and the first responders in managing this emergency situation” at the Washington Township school.

School officials did not reveal the identity of the student or the medical condition that caused the collapse.
The district will “continue to provide full support to our staff, students, and the family,” Clymer said. “We wish our student a speedy recovery.”
