Best Date Night Spots in Morristown, NJ

Some of my favorite restaurants are located in Morristown, NJ, as the town has a wide selection of restaurants that are great for date nights! One can choose from a wide variety of restaurants that serve different cuisine and environments that fit your mood. I’ve outlined a list of some delicious restaurants that are perfect for dates with your significant other.

Looking for a restaurant that has a formal, but sophisticated vibe? Roots Steakhouse is a great option, as it is a classy establishment with fantastic food, great for special occasions, or just to celebrate life too! Their tuna appetizer is my favorite, with filet mignon as a main course, paired with a smooth red wine. Their bar options are endless, and you can’t forget about dessert, as their famous “Roots Sundae” never disappoints!

In the mood for Japanese food, with a NYC-like vibe? Sushi Lounge is an incredible spot, offering great drinks and special sushi roll options. A personal favorite is their coconut shrimp roll, as well as their spicy salmon roll. Enjoy a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights, while enjoying some of the best cocktails I've ever had to make your night even more fun!

If you’re looking for a more casual option, but still want good food, The Committed Pig is a perfect option. What’s better than a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner all day long?! My favorite breakfast option is the french toast with strawberries, however if I’m leaning more towards dinner, I always choose the steer herder burger with sweet potato fries. Oh, and to make it even better, this is a BYOB restaurant, which means, bring as much as your favorite drinks as you’d like!

If you’re looking for a little ice cream post dinner, Beenie’s Ice Cream is one of my favorite spots. Serving homemade ice cream with a creative twist, Beenie’s offers several dairy free options, as well as ice cream for your dog! Their non-traditional spin on ice cream, makes for a unique twist (no-pun-intended) on your usual ice cream date experiences!
