Morris County Makes the List of Richest Counties in the Country
Morris County rounds out the list behind two other New Jersey counties. Can you guess which ones they are?

While it may not always feel like it, according to thestreet.com, Morris County is the 10th wealthiest county in the country.
According to the report, Morris County had the tenth highest median household income of all counties in the United States. New Jersey had three counties on the list with Morris County getting edged out by Somerset and Hunterdon counties, which were eighth and fourth on the list, respectively.
The median household income for Morris County is $91,469. While Morris County ranked well, the median household income fell roughly $3,000 since 2009. According to Census figures, Morristown's average household income was $64,279 between 2006 and 2010. Neighboring Morris Plains was significantly higher at $103,688.

Only four states were represented in the top 10: New Jersey, Maryland, Colorado and Virginia, which dominated the list with five counties on the list. The top ten weathiest counties are below:

- Hunterdon County, N.J. - $97,874
